Why society needs laws Essay Example for Free
Why society needs laws Essay There are many reasons that the society needs laws. Some people don’t understand the meaning of laws. Well guess what you don’t. Why do people waste time to write laws? People should be able to tell between right and wrong. It also depends on what kind of a parson you are. A good law would not be good if it wasn’t clear enough to the people or it was impossible to follow. And also which would not have any thing, which would go against. A bad law would be that people would not understand it and which would be really hard to follow. Other way of seeing if the law is good or bad is to see what the consequences are. Some are severely bad or the consequences are really good. People, which come from other societies, have to respect their laws that are in the society. Laws are put in the society to keep it stable and not have chaos around the world. People need to respect the cultural gaffs of that society. Cultural gaffs are that if you nod your head horizontally that means yes and when you nod your nod your head vertically it means no. In this matter people’s opinion does not matter they have to take care of where they are. In some cultures people would let go of your mistakes but that parson has to realize no to do it again. To make a country a better place is to have laws so people can be better than whom they are now. When society is solving any problem, they have to first set up priority. First the society is not supposed to put emotions in that problem. Meaning that if it’s your brother you will let him go. Emotions make things allot difficult for some laws to be implied to the society. Good laws are no made by emotion instead there made on what’s right. Without laws society would have allot of chaos. People would not have something to make them stable. That’s why A good law would not be good if it wasn’t clear enough to the people or it was impossible to follow. And In this matter people’s opinion does not matter they have to take care of where they are. If you want a good law for the society you need to overcome your emotions and let faith decide what’s going to happen. Essay --
Out of the many experiments being conducted, I have the pleasure of introducing a layered density column to the class. Density is defined as mass divided by volume or the amount of stuff in a certain amount of space. Composed of many different household products (vegetable oil, rubbing alcohol, and even water), density columns present different layers through the masses of each liquid. These columns can contain as many products the experimenter desires. The liquids chosen that have a higher density tend to weigh more, unlike those that weigh less and float to the top if poured into the column. Along with the liquids chosen objects can be placed into the column, and then we would be able to see how each layer has an effect on the objects. For my lab experiment, I will be using 7 products throughout my demonstration. I could use as many products that I want, however 7 is a common amount to start with. Every product will be measured according to the amount that the cup can hold. To conduct my experiment, I will be pouring the products into 2 ounce cups and will construct the column th...

Sales and Inventory Systems
Yakult was introduced to the Philippines in 1978. Its popularity among Filipinos has significantly grown in the past 33 years. There are two main companies in the Philippines, the Yakult Philippines Incorporated (YPI) and Yakult Marketing Corporation (YMC). Yakult Philippines Incorporated (YPI), an independent company, is a manufacturer and wholesale retailer of Yakult products from Yakult Honsha Co. LTD Japan with a joint venture and shares of investment of 60% for Filipinos and 40% for the Japanese investors. The factory is located in Barrio Makiling, Calamba, Laguna. They have twenty-five distributors from Luzon to Mindanao, supplying the whole country especially wholesale clients. The Yakult Marketing Corporation (YMC) retails their products and incorporates the Yakult Lady System that started in Metro Manila and NCR, then adapted by distributors all over the country. The Prohealth Sales Distributor Corporation which is the exclusive Yakult distributor in La Union started its oper ation in March 15, 2004.The Company orders its stocks from the Yakult Philippines Incorporated (YPI) and also adapted the Yakult Lady system of the Yakult Marketing Corporation (YMC). There are three branches in La Union and the Main Office is located in Bauang, La Union. The other branches are in Agoo which started in 2005 and Bangar that recently opened last 2011. The Main office receives the stocks ordered from YPI, and then distributes it to the other two branches. For the wholesale, the main office sells the product to all establishments that intend to resell the product. They deliver the products depending on the order or demand of the client. Every day, the main office deliver stocks to the Yakult Ladies, some just go directly to the main office to pay the stocks unpaid so that they can order again. There is an official receipt issued by the main office to the Yakult Ladies that is being manually recorded in order to make the daily sales and collection report at the end of the day.Making the sales report for the Yakult Ladies is a part of the motivational factor, for them to know how much they profit or loss of income and why their sales are going down. It will also become the basis of the company for how much promotional support they will give on the month of December in terms of gifts and other benefits. All the three branches make the daily sales report, the branch in Agoo and Bangar upload and send its reports in the main office in order to be compiled in the Main office. The sales report is made by the company’s secretary, and then thoroughly checked y the supervisor. The computation of the sales report is made in order to compute the sales and profit of the company. The inventory count of stocks must tally onto the sales report in order for the company to monitor the number of stocks distributed day by day. If the sales report and inventory count did not tally, then the processes must be repeated until they meet tally. Hence, the study was p roposed to help the processes in Prohealth Distributor Sales Corporation easier, faster and to refrain from human error.Due to growing number of employees, the sale monitoring system if done manually was a lot to handle and time consuming. They need a computerized sales monitoring and inventory system that will make the computation tasks faster. Aside from its accuracy, the proposed system also aims to enhance and provide a better way to store information in a secured manner. The study will be implemented first in the Main Office of the Prohealth Sales Distributor Corporation La Union in order to pilot test the system software being proposed.

White Noise reveals that the modern tools of†¦show more content†¦Everything was fine, would continue to be fine, would eventually get better as long as the supermarket did not slip†(170). The supermarket is an analogy for the human spirit. It represents an und eniable marker of human growth, a reminder that humans are safer from death than ever. The supermarket protects people from the real world because it removes the barriers between humans and a basic component for survival, food. This erasure of a struggle to obtain food does not give humans more time to think because people welcome of the distraction of consumerism. Supermarkets may help ensure the physical survival of humans, but does nothing to improve peoples mental states. People cannot come to terms with death whilst buying a bag of pork rinds. Jack Gladney’s use his job as an armor against the world parallels the actions of people in real life. His thoughts about Hitler are almost like comfort objects to Jack. Hitler’s legacy makes Jack feel safer. Murray confirms this whilst talking to Jack about his imminent death, â€Å"‘Some people are larger than life. Hitler is larger than death’†(287). He reaches the crux of the problem in this statemen t. Jack’s fatal flaw is his reliance on this notorious historical figure to protect him from death. He sacrifices some of his own morals in his pursuit to become the most knowledgeable about Hitler. He overlooks the bad things Hitler has done because he needs to feel justified in his choice of study. This is
